Welcome to the Letizia Companies. The Letizia Companies comprise of three companies: Letizia Ad Team, Big Traffic Mobile Billboards and Universal Productions. The following is glimpse into each company.

Big Traffic Mobile Billboards Worldwide

Mobile Billboards of Las Vegas (now Big Traffic Mobile Billboards Worldwide) opened on January 2, 2001 with one truck and one client and the capability of selling 30 runs per month. We now have 11 trucks, over 50 clients and the capability to sell up to 616 runs per month. Our client list began with and still includes some of the more stellar members of the Las Vegas community: IGT, Findlay Toyota, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Harrah’s Entertainment, Caesar’s Palace, and Luxor. We also were able to send an underprivileged child to summer day camp for the past 4 years. The company donates run time to local charities and non profit organizations such as Make a Wish and the Anti Defamation League.

In 2001 we began with 1 truck. We acquired a 2nd and 3rd truck in 2002, a fourth in 2003, trucks 5& 6 in 2004, trucks 7 & 8 in 2005, trucks 9, 10 & 11 in 2006. From January 2, 2001 until January 2, 2005, Big Traffic operated out of separate locations. The trucks were kept at a storage facility 3 miles away from the office premises. The company consolidated into one location in January, 2005 and was joined by Letizia Ad Team in July, 2005.

We first went out of market in June, 2003 to promote pay-per-view boxing in Southern California. Our first multi-truck caravan was for Findlay Toyota in spring, 2003. We supported our first marriage proposal in May of 2004.

We have created a scheduling program, a competitive intelligence department, a traffic strategy department and a unique lighting system. No other mobile billboard company has done these things; we are truly the trendsetters of the industry. Every thing we do, every operation, every method, we have created out of whole cloth. There is no template, we write the template!

Letizia Ad Team

Company History – The Letizia Ad Team actually began in June of 1980. However, Tom Letizia had been an agency operator/partner of Advertising West and Western Advertising since 1974. Therefore, in reality the agency started in 1974 under the name of Western Advertising. In 1980 when Tom Letizia broke away from his partners and formed Letizia Ad Team, the company began with just Tom Letizia. After a few weeks, an assistant was hired and for several years, the company did not have more than five employees. In 1990, the company grew to about 22 and then trimmed down throughout the 90’s until 2000 when the company’s biggest growth occurred.

Goals – Tom Letizia has always had a goal of being successful. The size of the agency was not always the most important factor in operating an agency. The goals were to be profitable. Now the goals have changed, to not only be profitable, but now the agency wishes to be the largest automotive agency in the United States.

First Client of the agency was National Mattress Company. This company was the largest bedding company in the State of Nevada for the 70’s and early 80’s. The company grew to five locations, which was a lot for the smaller Las Vegas of those days. National Mattress also had its own factory and had the edge of being factory direct. National Mattress made bad business decisions and finally in the late 90’s went out of business.

Recent events are the agency’s dramatic growth in the last few years, due to our nationwide automotive account representation. The exposure of the National Automobile Dealers Association convention (NADA) and the marketing efforts of the firm make us poised to grow in the next 5 years.

Universal Productions

Universal Productions was started in early 2005 when Letizia Ad team realized it could better serve its clients with an in house production department. Sam Seegars, a highly experienced and respected industry professional, was recruited to head the department. Under her direction, the Universal Producitons grew and we added Chris Johnston, a talented young visual artist, to the team. Both have many years of experience writing, directing, producing, shooting and editing all types of video productions.

As a part of the Ad Team, Universal Productions has two on-site edit bays, complete with Autodesk’s discreet smoke systems, Digibeta, BetaSP and MPG/IMX format VTR’s and other standard post-production equipment. Voice talent performs scripts directly from our sound booth. A ProTools audio suite is used for sweetening radio and televisions commercial soundtracks. Recently, Universal Productions expanded, offering a full EFP camera package with customized production van. We now shoot our own video materials in any location.

Since its inception, Universal Productions has simplified the production process and brought great success to many clients and Letizia Ad Team with creative, impact driven commercials and programs.
